California Dance Camp 2024
Monte Toyon, Aptos; June 17 - 22

 For over 25 years The Bay Area Circle Dancers have welcomed dancers from Europe, the UK,  North and South America to our summer dance camp.
​This year we return at long last to Monte Toyon, 90 minutes south of San Francisco with its superb dance hall, comfortable bedrooms and great buffet food.
​5 days, 6 nights, 14 or more dance sessions 8 experienced teachers.

• 6 days 5 nights of dancing (Monday afternoon to Saturday noon)
• 3 excellent buffet meals each day (choose meat, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free)
• ​Private single or double bedrooms in lodge, camping available.
• Electricity everywhere, modern baths, ample hot water, Wi-Fi
• Tall redwoods and open meadow for outdoor dancing
• 3-4  dance sessions a day, sunrise to late evening
• Dancing, drumming, singing, and s’more’s around the campfire
• Guided nature walks, local excursions
• Adjacent to Forest of Nisene Marks, 30 miles of trails.
• Touring opportunities before and after camp. San Francisco, Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Santa Cruz beaches and boardwalk, Napa wine country, south to Los Angles etc.

We are offering a sliding scale so the financially secure amoung us can make it possible for those of us on a tight budget to attend. Pay what you can and know if you need to hug the bottom of the scale, those at the top end will even it all out!  ​The mid fee aims to make us break even. The fees go to camp costs and very modest teacher and worker stipends. The vast majority of the hard work to make camp happen is volunteered for the love of dance and community!

Cary lodge single: low $938.00  mid $998.00  high $1,048.00 ( limited in number)
Off Site: low $498 mid $548  high $598.
