About Us
Circle Dance, a playful spiritual practice, is a means for joy, growth, awareness and healing, Also known as Sacred Dance or World Dance, it was birthed at Findhorn, a spiritual community in Scotland and spread across the world. We have danced regularly since 1985, in northern California towns including El Cerrito, Pacifica, Ben Lomond, San Leandro, Petaluma, Grass Valley, and Mendocino.We do traditional dances from around the world (Greece, Israel, Scotland, Russia, France, North and South America, etc.) along with newly choreographed dances to a variety of world music. Dances range from slow and meditative to lively. No partner, dance experience, or special skills of any kind are needed. Each dance is taught. Beginners are always welcome.
