Schedule for the Day!
come for all or the parts that interest you! Come for the whole day and support our emerging teachers ( they cannot learn to teach without willing feet in the circle!) Or come for the Potluck and our regular 2 hours of Circle Dance!
Noon set-up
1-1:15 greeting and Explain the Day
1:15- 2:15 first learning session- 2 -3 new learners and their mentors practice teach one dance each and get constructive feedback
2:15- 2:30 15 minute Break
2:30-2:50 sharers speak for 5-10 minutes each on their chosen subject ( music tech, starting a group, history, music styles and form)
2:50-3:50 Tea / discussion Break. Sharers make themselves available for deeper discussion and questions (we may jettison this or make it 1/2 hour if we need more time for teaching dances- in which case sharers can invite follow up at dinner breaks and after the event)
3:50- 4:50 2nd learning session, 2-3 learners with their mentors practice teach one dance each and get constructive feedback
4:45-6:00 set up and potluck dinner
6:00 - 8PM dance session featuring emerging and experienced teachers
